What is a safety assessment?

A safety assessment has two components: Risk and Vulnerability. Risk assessment is a process that identifies potential hazards and analyzes their possible consequences. Vulnerability assessment is a systematic process that identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes security weaknesses in an organization's systems, networks, and physical location.

Currently, professional Assessors review physical locations and procedural risk factors and share their findings with law enforcement agencies. These Safety assessments allowed for the creation of strategies and recommendations to increase safety.
