What is a safety assessment?
A safety assessment has two components: Risk and Vulnerability. Risk assessment is a process that identifies potential hazards and analyzes their possible consequences. Vulnerability assessment is a systematic process that identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes security weaknesses in an organization's systems, networks, and physical location.

These Safety assessments allowed for the creation of strategies and recommendations to increase safety. Moreover, assessment reporting is a vital first step in the process of allocating resources effectively and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
